Mary Wilson Joins Fremont Development Group

ATLANTA (January 7, 2010) - Fremont Development Group is pleased to announce that Mary Wilson has joined the firm as Senior Principal. Fremont Development Group, a fundraising consulting company, helps Chambers of Commerce, non-profits, and economic development organizations grow their financial resources and execute successful fundraising campaigns.

Mary Wilson brings more than 25 years of experience in non-profits, fundraising, operations, and financial management. Prior to joining Fremont, Mary was the Vice President, Operations & Development Services at the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation. In this role, she was responsible for conducting strategic planning, leading fundraising efforts and managing operations.
Before joining Children’s Healthcare, Mary was the Chief Financial Officer of the Atlanta Jewish Federation. Her responsibilities included managing operations and finances. Mary was also the Chief Financial Officer of Hands On Network, an international non-profit promoting volunteerism. Prior to joining Hands On Network, she worked in both profit and nonprofit organizations.
Mary is a Certified Public Accountant and has more than 15 years of senior financial management experience. She received her MAcc, Masters in Accounting, from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama, an MBA in Economics & Management and BS in Business Administration from Troy State University in Troy, Alabama. Mary also pursued PhD level graduate studies in Finance and Leadership from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.
